Are you an RN/RPN or student that is Interested in volunteering locally? Join Young Nurses Take Action Foundation at the Ronald McDonald House! Ronald McDonald House provides a temporary "home away from home" for families with children that are undergoing medical treatment in Edmonton. Through the Helping Hands program at Ronald McDonald, groups are able to volunteer their time and skills right in the heart of the Ronald McDonald House!

Young Nurses Take Action Foundation now has a committee that is working with and planning volunteer opportunities at the Ronald MacDonald House in Edmonton on an ongoing basis!!! These will include mainly baking and cooking for the many residents of the Ronald MacDonald House. Opportunities will first be offered to members, with any additional spaces being opened up to everyone else.

Edmonton Pride Parade

June 10, 2017 @11am

Young Nurses Take Action Foundation is excited to announce that we will be taking part in the 2017 Edmonton Pride Parade! The Pride in the Park Festival takes place on June 10, 2017 and begins at 11am. We are entitled to a maximum of 50 participants in our entry. Are you interested in participating? Register via eventbrite and get ready to show your YNTA Pride! You do not have to be a 'young nurse' in order to be a member of our organization nor to participate in our parade entry.

We are hoping to secure our 50 participants soon so as to begin planning our entry. We are planning on coordinating outfits, glitter and banners to show our Pride and support for the LGBTQ+ community. More details to follow!
