CALLING ALL CALGARY NURSES!! You've been asking and now we're delivering...a medical trip based out of Calgary! YNTA will be partnering with Floating Doctors, which is based in the Bocas Del Toro Region of Panama.

The Floating Doctors Mission is to reduce the present and future burden of disease in the developing world, and to promote improvements in health care delivery worldwide. The medical team will be taking part in setting up mobile clinics in communities that would otherwise have limited or no access to health care. We will also be providing support to Asilo residents (a local long term care facility that has limited support and resources). Find out more about Floating Doctors at

Peruvian Amazon 2018

We are very excited to announce YNTA's newest endeavour! We will be doing a student/RN &RPN mentorship trip to the Peruvian Amazon in May/June 2018. We are currently assembling a leadership team of 4-5 RNs/RPNs who will assist in organizing and planning the trip, and most importantly, will be mentors to the nursing students on the trip.
We are reaching out to YNTA members, those who have previously been on a YNTA trip, or individuals with previous international nursing volunteer experience. Most importantly, we are looking for individuals who are as passionate about mentorship and the next generation of nursing leaders as we are.
